Cortina Ski and Snowboard School is trying to give everyone a chance to enjoy this beautiful sport and to become passionate skiers.
This outdoor sport, in the nature let people to be relaxed and to feel free, in a wonderful atmosphere.
Qualified instructors can help handicapped people to begina a turn, to go on a chairlift, to try more difficult pistes and if you are already able to ski you can spend a few hours outside, enjoying a winter atmosphere.
Equipment has been improved:
- ("Monosci") "One ski", skiers can ski on a chair, where legs and back are stopped on that and under that chair there is only one ski.
- "Dualsky" "Two skis", for different disabilities (legs or arms).
Blind people can be supported by instructors, who have to speak with them and who have to produce vocal sounds, that can be heard by blind skiers. Skiers have to follow sounds.
