TRICKS SNOWBOARD - JUMPS BASES
Gait
Fakie: Gait backwards.
Forward: Normal gait, forwards.
Boned o Bonato: Technical trick. During the air phase you have to extend one leg forward or backward.
Pompaggio/Load: Movement of lower limbs, before the real jump (coping) to increase the height of the jump, with an extension of legs.
Stallo/Stop phase: On the heighest point of the jump, when our bodies are in air and we have to keep the position we have.
Speed check: Slowdown before jumping to check and control the jump.
Standard air: Jump with or without grab with a plain position of the snowboard.
Late: In the end of the air performance before landing.
Uscita/Exit: Passage from the coping to the air phase.
Types of rotations
Back flip: Rotation backwards.
Front flip: Rotation forwards.
Inverted: Performance with head under snowboard.

Grab types
Nosegrab: Grab the nose of snowboard.
Tailgrab: The back hand grabs the tail of snowboard.
Backside grab: Forward hand grabs the backside edge, between bindings.
Backside air: Forward hand grabs the backside edge, between bindings or in the frontside of the forward binding during a backside shift.
Indy: Backward hand grabs the frontside edge between bindings.
Mute: Forward hand grabs the frontside edge between bindings.
Stalefish: Backward hand grabs the backside edge between bindings.
Blindside: Backside Rotation in forward or backward gait (fakie).
Double grab: Sequence of grabs.
Double-handed grab: Grab with both hands of the same time.
Lein (NEIL): Forward hand grabs the backside edge and body follows on the nose of snowboard.
Lain method air: A blend of Method and Lein.
Japan: Grab the snowboard in mute, moving the forward arm outside the knee.
Melenchollie: Forward hand grabs the backside edge of the snowboard, between bindings, near the forward foot, with forward leg straight.
Nolli (Nose ollie): Forward gait and an olli on the nose of the snowboard.
Stiffy: Grab performance with straight legs.
Suitcase: Grab of the frontside edge, moving the hand on the side of the soil of the snowboard.
Switch
Tuck-knee: One knee pushed to the opposite foot, touching the snowboard.
Triks
Backside rodeo: Rotation around the long body axis and around the traverse axis of 540ø.
Frontside rodeo: 540ø frontside turned out of axis, almost inverted, usually performed on the long and the traverse axes.
Corkscrew: The long body axis turns in a horizontal position. Head and snowboard are at the same height.
Crail: Backward hand grabs the frontside edge of the frontside binding. Backward leg is straight.
Mistyflip: Un aerail inverted matched with a 540ø backside combined with a front flip on the traverse axis.
Shifty: Un aerail inverted matched with a 540ø backside combined with a front flip on the traverse axis.
Underflip: Frontside rotation on the long axis matched with a front flip, performed after the first 90ø rotation.
